Alpha Omicron Pi was founded on a promise to serve not only one another but the greater community as well. This commitment reflects a philosophy of friendship, concern, and usefulness in the world.

Commitment to
Dignity

Whether a member chooses to serve as a chapter officer, or represent AOII as a member of other campus or community organizations, there are numerous opportunities to develop leadership skills as a member of AOII.

Commitment to
Scholarship

AOII encourages all members to excel academically and has many programs designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable.

Commitment to
College Loyalty

From collegiate years on through alumnae involvement, the reason AOIIs continue service is the joy of spending time together and sharing the insights learned from the relationships we build and sustain.

Letter from the President

Thanks for taking the time to explore our website and what it means to be an Alpha Omicron Pi at Texas Christian University. In Lambda Rho Chapter, we strive to continually exceed the expectation by fostering our love of service, scholarship, and leadership. We aim to create strong bonds of sisterhood by becoming women who value and savor lifelong friendships.

Here at TCU, you will find AOII sisters are actively involved everywhere on campus. Many of our sisters serve as TCU Athletic Ambassadors, Leaders of The Crew, Resident Assistants and assistant hall directors, academic tutors, Orientation Leaders, and many more. In addition to our involvement in campus, our sisters participate in numerous philanthropic efforts. Our sisters participate in campus wide sponsored service events such as LEAPs, as well as our Greek community’s philanthropy events. Our involvement is not limited to the TCU campus; it extends to the Fort Worth and surrounding communities as well as our soldiers overseas.

Friendship is a word that is frequently used in reference to Greek life. In Alpha Omicron Pi, we emphasize the importance of authenticity and the acceptance and love of our diversity.  Our differences become our assets. For where one girl is weak, another girl is strong, and in this way we have established a support system that encourages each of us to exceed every expectation we set for ourselves. Take a second to browse through our website and see what my sisters are all about. We can’t wait to meet you!
